Psalms 91:4-5

"He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor the arrow that flieth by day." (Psalm 91:4-5

Three points:

1. Hens are protective of their chicks

We have about 25 hens. If it is raining, the peeps hide under her wings--safe and dry. She always gives her best to protect them. God does the same for us--if we are willing.

2. We need to have faith

Saying we trust God is easy; when things are tough, it is then we are seen what we really are--trust God or something/somebody else.

3. Fear

God may send/allow hard times, but we can be assured that He is in control. We are safe. Our souls cannot be destroyed by man or situation.
