Romans 12:16

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. (Romans 12:16)

Three points:

1. Have an honest opinion about yourself.

We shouldn't think that we're better than someone else or worse than someone else. If we are, we should be humble about it.

2. Don't be a so-called name dropper.

We shouldn't try to be friends with the famous just so we can say, "Yea, so and so is a friend of mine." It is a type of pride.

3. Realize our opinion may not be the best.

We can give our views, but we need to be aware that others may have a better or worse opinion. Listen, then speak. It doesn't mean we have to give up our opinion but to listen and realize ours may not be the best. Truth is the criteria, not science. The Bible is better than science. Truth and facts don't change; science does.
